Our Goal

Support for Positive Parenting

The family is the main foundation of any society. The balance of this unit is primarily the responsibility of the parents. A child’s behavior largely reflects the quality of his or her family unit.

Furthermore, parenting has never been so strained. Indeed, traditionally made up of several family members (uncle, cousin, aunt, etc.), the traditional African family unit is experiencing profound changes which pose numerous challenges to parents. If in the past parents could rely on cousins, nephews, aunts and grandparents to look after their children while they were busy at work, it is now increasingly difficult to resort to this solution. This situation puts parents under pressure between professional constraints and the demands of parenthood and this very often leads to tensions with the children because they feel abandoned or put under pressure by their parents.

Parenting assistance is a growing need in our modern societies to help parents develop the key skills to successfully educate their children.
